Date Due: Week before Christmas
Manteo HS
5 Hours Required

For ALL English Courses
Community service: service-learning is the practice of linking academic course work to community service. Service-learning helps students understand the society and culture in which they will be working, raising families, and serving as productive citizens and community leaders.

What activities are included in community service: service-learning? From roadside cleanups to tutoring and mentoring other students, visiting the elderly and repairing shelters, these volunteer projects not only help others but also give our students opportunities that connect class work to real-world experiences.

Thank you for helping this student complete his/her required community service: service-learning for English class. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email me.

Thank you again!
